PALISADES PARK, N.J. -- James J. O'Connor, of Palisades Park, died Nov. 10. He was 90.
He was born April 13, 1926, in Manhattan, and was a U.S. veteran of World War II. Before retiring, he was president of Certified Movers Local 814 in Manhattan.
He is survived by his wife, Anna (nee) Redstone; step-son, Thomas Tzaras; and siblings, Kathleen and Raymond.
There wlll be a funeral at 11 a.m. Monday at the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., Cliffsifde Park, thence to St. Michael R.C. Church, 19 E. Central Blvd., Palisades Park, for a noon funeral Mass. Cremation will be private. The family will receive their friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
